Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? - ġ1. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours and their works do follow them. They went out from us, but they were not of us for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists whereby we know that it is the last time. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. Preach the word be instant in season, out of season reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. ![]() Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
